300h YTT | 2025

The Masters is what comes next. We believe in the power of working and growing together; our entire training is held in person at our EAST studio, and each weekend includes time to learn, teach, and connect with both your peers and yourself. We will video record your teaching at times throughout the course to offer feedback, inspiration, and the opportunity to see yourself and witness your progress.  Our monthly modules are designed to continue the growth from your 200hr training, and take it up a notch.  WAY up! You will complete a 20-hour Karma Project to nurture other communities, as well as design a Business Project to nurture your own. Each weekend includes Sacred Circle – a check-in time that is a foundational part of the process where we explore the intricacies of where teaching and living-yoga-off-the-mat meet. To be accepted, all applicants must be 200-hour certified, be passionate, and a willing seeker of growth, both personally and professionally. You do not need to be a registered yoga teacher, do not need to be certified by Annie Q, and do not need to be currently teaching.  This is your opportunity to explore, experiment, participate, dig deep and rise tall!

Includes:

  • The Baseline Weekend: The Bhagavad Gita teaches: “Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” To teach yoga authentically, we must first dig into ourselves. This weekend will be a reintroduction to self, and the start of your teaching growth and the introspective work that happens throughout the year. You will build relationships with the facilitators, each other, and your own inner yogi.
  • Teacher’s Toolbox:  This weekend, we focus on practical tools to support and refine the delivery of your teaching. You already hold the knowledge, now we ask: How do you present it in a way that is clear, engaging, and deeply connected? It’s about teaching not just from your mind, but from your whole self in a way that is soulful, understandable, and includes your own unique charm.
  • Creative Sequencing: Every pose can connect to any other pose! Sometimes it gets messy, and there is joy to be found there. Explore how seemingly different poses can  flow together if you are willing to show up present in it all. When we let go of our scripts and expectations, what comes next?
  • Advanced Assisting: Physical touch can be powerfully healing and helps a student bring their mind back into their body. Learn how to give physical assists in ways that are deep, kind, and remind students that they aren’t alone on this journey into self.Meditation: Meditation is a direction of attention inward and awareness of yourself in the present moment. Once you are aware of where you are, you can decide where you want to go. This weekend will include multiple meditation traditions, and strategies on how to lead others through them as well.
  • The 8 Limbs of Yoga: We know that yoga is more than just Asana. This weekend we will dive deep into all 8 Limbs of Yoga, not just to understand them, but to bring each one into our teaching every class. We will do this in a way that is informed by ancient teachings and is also authentic and genuine to each teacher.
  • Power Down: Long holds in lizard and pigeon require power too. Poses like these require the strength of introspection and reducing the resistance to feeling what comes up without judgement. Learn how to focus the entire class on deep mind-body connection using the power of peace and ease.
  • Storytelling: How do we as yoga teachers share ourselves in our classes in ways that are authentic, intuitive, and interesting without getting lost in our own narrative? This module dives into the necessary balance of showing up as our own human selves while also maintaining the priority of each student learning about their experience too.
  • Advanced Anatomy: Take a deep dive into anatomy for yoga teachers with physical therapist and yoga teacher, Caitlyn Holik.
  • Self of the Student: As teachers, we become very familiar with our yoga and the culture surrounding it. Put yourself back in the role of a beginner – what is it like to show up brand new?
  • Mentoring: Feedback needs to be given in the context of who you are mentoring – where are they in their teaching? What are their expectations from you? Practice giving feedback that meets a student where they are in their teaching, rather than where you are in yours.
  • Music as a Tool: Music isn’t background noise – use it as a tool to guide the emotional experience of your class. Create a dynamic class by bringing the energy up and down with your music in partnership with your teaching, rather than letting the music take a back seat.
